Title: Assistant Payroll Manager
Location: London/Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 + Bonus

JGA are partnered with a leading chartered accounts, who are seeking an Assistant Payroll Manager to join their busy payroll function.

Responsibilities:

Supervise the payroll team.
Ensure accuracy and quality of service.
Managing a client portfolio and their payrolls.
Act as the first point of contact for the team’s technical queries.
Handle internal and client inquiries.
Recommend improvements to payroll procedures and team operations.
Assist in monitoring, training, and developing team members. Experience Needed:

Experience working in a client or bureau setting.
Proven ability to manage and lead a small team.
Knowledgeable in payroll legislation, compliance, and auto-enrolment.
Strong payroll software knowledge.
Ability to manually calculate PAYE and NIC.
