Tradewind is recruiting for dedicated individuals to work in schools across Islington, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Global Developmental Delay.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group support for children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and more.
Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies.
Assist with personal care where needed, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
Encourage the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN in an educational or care setting.
A caring and patient attitude, with a strong understanding of disabilities such as ASD, ADHD, and Global Delay.
Background in care or special needs education preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).Benefits:
