Position: Quantity Surveyor
Employment Type: Full-Time
Collaborating with an innovative new build housing developer based in Aberdeen who are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to enhance their commercial team. We are looking for a talented individual with experience of delivering, ideally, new build housing developments, however wider construction experience is greatly welcomed.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for new build housing projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and assist in project planning and procurement.
Monitor project progress and costs, ensuring that all financial targets are met.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are adhered to.
Prepare and submit progress reports and assist in resolving any cost-related issues.
Conduct valuations and manage variations, ensuring that all changes are documented accurately.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally with a focus on new build housing projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legislation.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in relevant software
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.On Offer:
