The Job you’ll do
* To maintain all machinery owned or hired by the company
* To maintain preventative maintenance programme
* Responsible for internal facilities e.g., heating, lighting, and domestic appliances.
* Ensure breakdowns are dealt with as soon as possible to reduce downtime.
* Facilitate installing new and existing machinery.
* General maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
* Co-ordinate contractors as required
* Maintain adequate spares to support the plant
* Take part in performance improvement programmes
* To comply with legal requirements and to work within Company health and safety guidelines
* To assist and train other members of staff.
* Maintain high level of general housekeeping
* Computer literate and able to use the main software packages
About You
* Experience in a Multiskilled Maintenance role within Engineering/Manufacturing.
* Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills are essential.
* Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
* Machine tool and fitting experience desirable.
* Computer literate and able to use the main software packages
