Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
* (OTE £46,000 - £50,000 PA)

Salary Circa: £41,500 PA
Location: Teesside
Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

The Company:

The Position:

The company are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the site maintenance systems and operation on sight.

Skills & Requirements for an electrically biased maintenance engineer:

* Apprentice trained, Electrical HNC qualification

* Significant maintenance knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment

* Practical hands on approach to problem solving

* Knowledge of systems to be maintained, will be working on PLCs

* Knowledge of MODSOFT, Unity Pro, Concept, Siemens TIA programming software preferred but not essential

* Understanding AC / DC Machines

* Understanding AC / DC Drives

* 17th/18th IEE Regulations

* Inspection and testing

* Commercial understanding of the impact of failure/downtime of production and ultimately customer delivery

* Ability to troubleshoot

* Ability to follow a maintenance schedule and reactive maintenance

* Ability to read electrical schematics

* Self-motivated

* Willingness to learn new processes

* Able to work alone or as part of a team

Responsibilities:

The site runs an effective PPM system and as such is achieving great strides in a more planned and preventative maintenance systems as opposed to a wholly reactive set up. Maintenance is planned in such a way that tasks are dedicated to set days/periods of shutdown allowing a more effective maintenance structure and working environment.
