Technical Administrator
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for the Energy from Waste sector? Join our client's dynamic team as a Technical Administrator. The role of a Technical Administrator supports the EH&S culture and provides vital administrative and technical support to the Plant Manager and Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities of Technical Administrator:
* Support EH&S culture at the plant and across the organization.
* Promote a positive and transparent business culture.
* Provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the Management Team.
* Liaise with procurement, accounting, payroll, and other service departments.
* Assist with contract reporting and internal reporting requirements.
* Support monthly cashflow and annual budget preparation.
* Administer procurement activities and manage delivery paperwork.
* Handle invoice queries and manage service contracts.
* Monitor permits and licenses, ensuring validity.
* Coordinate with the Environmental Team on Duty of Care and waste tracking.
* Provide documentation for regulatory agencies.
* Contribute to the monthly management report.
* Manage PPE issue/cupboard and stationery.
* Control and track documents on SharePoint and file site documentation.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
* Contribute to the ISO certification process.
* Raise Purchase Orders.
* Report KPIs to regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a technical or industrial environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Pirana CMMS, Sage accounting, and SharePoint (IBMS) preferred.
* Knowledge of EH&S regulations and ISO certification process is advantageous.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
