The JKS Marketing team are seeking a Social Media Manager to work across their core Indian restaurants (Trishna, Gymkhana, Brigadiers, 42 and Ambassadors Clubhouse) in London and internationally.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Social Media Manager in a luxury hospitality brand.

The Group

JKS Restaurants was founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam, and Sunaina Sethi in November 2008. Since its inception, the group has received critical acclaim and industry recognition, including 7 Michelin stars, 4 Michelin Bib Gourmands, a restaurant ranked among the World’s 100 Best Restaurants, and a spot in the Sunday Times Best 100 Places to Work 2024.

The JKS portfolio currently features Michelin-starred restaurants such as Trishna, Gymkhana, Kitchen Table, Sabor, and Lyle’s, along with cult favourites Hoppers, BAO, Brigadiers, Berenjak, Plaza Khao Gaeng, Speedboat Bar, Bibi, and Ambassadors Clubhouse. Pubs include The Cadogan Arms, The George and The Hound.

The Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to drive content creation, community management and everything in between related to Social Media to work across Gymkhana, Trishna, Brigadiers, 42 and Ambassadors Clubhouse. Reporting to a Senior Marketing Manager, this role is hands-on, highly creative and a chance to produce best-in-class visuals for our brands.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager you will be able to create monthly content plans with creative ideas filled with visually inspiring and engaging best-in-class content while retaining each brands individual tone of voice and creative style.

Capture, edit and post live in moment photo and video content — for both feed and stories — building a vibrant and on-trend digital presence for our brands

Staying ahead of the curve - you will conduct research and analyse the market to come up with relevant campaign ideas and trend-led videos to execute

Lead on copywriting and captions for our social media posts in line with each brands’ individual tone of voice.

Community manage across each of our platforms

Report on overall and individual brand performance. Be able to identify actionable insights and trends to optimise and grow the social media presence of our brands.

Lead on developing Tik-Tok content and engagement strategies in support of larger brand strategy. Develop how our brands voice and style translate into compelling native content on the platform.

Essential:

Passionate and engaged with the food, drink and hospitality industry;

Your friends would describe you as someone who’s “lives on social media”

Comfortable capturing and editing social media content (both Reels/TikTok and photos) on iPhone and occasionally on DSLR or similar professional cameras.

Comfortable quickly turning around edits to be able to capitalise on “in the moment” trends and provide timely coverage for onsite events and activations

Experience with social media/community engagement;

Comfortable interfacing directly with the in-restaurant teams to arrange and execute content capture. Able to quickly build the necessary relationships and raptor.

Basic graphic design skills. Able create simple graphics and edit photo/video for social media in Canva, Figma or similar

A natural sense for creative thinking and strong copywriting skills;

Entrepreneurial with creative flair;

A curious, fast-learner, with a fearless attitude and a passion for storytelling;

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

A can do attitude, where your able to work with multiple stakeholders across our restaurants to get content across the line.

Preferred:

Some experience with professional photography or videography equipment

Experience working on a premium hospitality brand.

Basic experience with Adobe Indesign and other Creative Suite Tools

Basic HTML and/or experience with Wordpress CMS
