PRESS BRAKE OPERATIVE

OA are currently working with a well established, leading organisation within the industry and are currently looking to recruit a Press Brake Operative

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00am-16:00pm
Weekly Pay - £12-£15ph based on experience

Press Brake Operative - Key Responsibilities:

Workshop based
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders and production schedules to determine the specifications for each job
Position metal plates onto the machine and align according to specified measurements
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications
Press Brake Operative - Skills and Experience:

Previous experience is required
Experience in working press brake machines / knowledge of bending techniques
Knowledge of different metals
Ability to read and interperet blueprints, work orders and production specifications
Strong communication skills; written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Positive, self-motivated attitude
