Are you looking for a great opportunity as a Production Operative with forklift experience? Our client, a thriving organisation, is seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join their team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, with the potential for long-term stability and career growth. If you possess the necessary skills and are available to start on the 7th of October, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a counterbalance forklift, efficiently unloading and loading lorries with wooden and plastic pallets.
Safely store pallets using standard and euro-sized racking systems.
Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain the overall cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse.
Assist in the production department by manually filling bottles with hand rub and soap.
Pack spill packs and spill kits efficiently.
Aid in the blending and dispensing of granules and powders into shakers/pots.
Contribute to stock control activities in the warehouse.Requirements:
Proficiency in operating a counterbalance forklift is essential.
Strong physical stamina, as some heavy lifting (up to 25kgs) may be required.
Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent organisational skills, ensuring orders and stock are accurately recorded.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive and positive mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (with an hour lunch break) or 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (with a half-hour lunch break).
