The Opportunity

The Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety, health, and environmental systems to ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements at our Radar Road site.

* This role involves promoting a culture of safety, minimizing risks, and ensuring the warehouse operates in an environmentally responsible manner.

* The HSE Manager works closely with all departments to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and drive continuous improvements in safety and environmental performance within the warehouse.

* Overall responsibility and compliance of the site’s H&S, making sure staff are aware of the importance and follow safety protocol.

* Implement practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices in the workplace.

* Conduct/organise relevant health and safety training for staff as required, including first aid and fire safety.

* Must have qualification in occupational H&S, (masters/NVQ/BSC/NEBOSH national diploma).

* Good understanding of Health and Safety within Transport

* Must have held a Health and Safety role in a Warehouse and Logistics business

* IT literate and a comprehensive understanding of Windows-based programs to include Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.

* Excellent Leadership abilities and ability to influence those at a senior level.
