A leading manufacturer of high-precision components for the automotive industry is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Technical Team.
Supplying to OEMs worldwide, the company is currently experiencing significant growth and is looking to further strengthen their already sizable team. The main focus for the role of Quality Engineer is to maintain a culture of Quality within the business.
Quality Engineer duties include:
Identify opportunities for Quality improvement, Quality Awareness and Process improvement
Ensure Quality data is tracked and reported efficiently and effectively
Proactively identify and eliminate causes for error and defection
Develop, implement, and maintain an RFT (right first time) methodology
Support in Quality projects, including NPI and Prototype builds
Conduct and support internal, and supplier audits, and prepare for external auditing exercised
Develop and implement new Quality Control documentation
Drive a continuous improvement mentalityThe ideal candidate will be confident with Quality documentation such as PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, and PFMEA and any experience of project management in NPI or Prototype manufacturing would be beneficial.
