Job Title: Quality Engineer (Supplier Experience)

Location: South Birmingham

Contract Type: 12-month Contract (Outside IR35)

Pay Rate: £25-£28 per hour

About the Company: We are partnering with a leading automotive component manufacturer who is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer with a focus on supplier experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-quality standards in a critical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain quality assurance processes in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Report on quality performance and metrics to senior management.
Ensure all quality documentation is accurate and up to date.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, specifically with supplier quality management.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
Background in the defence industry is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
