Job Title: Transport/Traffic Administrator
Location: Speke. Liverpool
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time
Hours: 8-4 / 9-5 (options available)

Job Overview:
As a Transport/Traffic Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient coordination of transport operations. You will ensure that all traffic and transport schedules are followed, necessary documentation is completed, and any issues are resolved promptly to maintain the highest level of service delivery. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily transport routes for drivers and vehicles

* Monitor real-time traffic, adjusting routes to avoid delays and minimize fuel costs

* Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including drivers’ hours and vehicle maintenance requirements

* Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support throughout their routes

* Track deliveries and shipments, ensuring timely arrivals and resolving any discrepancies or delays

* Process transportation documentation such as delivery notes, invoices, and reports

* Liaise with internal teams and external customers to ensure delivery requirements are met

* Assist in resolving any transport-related issues or customer complaints

* Support the logistics team in ad-hoc administrative tasks and reporting

Qualifications & Skills:

* Previous experience in transport administration, logistics, or traffic management is preferred

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance is an advantage

* Problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling

* Knowledge of TOPS system preffered but not essential
