Position: Attorney - Workers Compensation

MBC Talent Connections is currently looking for a motivated Attorney to join our client as a Workers' Compensation Attorney. We are seeking an individual with a strong passion for advocating for injured workers, as well as a deep understanding of workers' compensation laws. This individual will be responsible for managing a caseload that includes covering hearings in the Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Pottsville areas.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in workers compensation cases, including hearings, trials, and appeals

- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, and pleadings

- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and other parties involved in the case

- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

- Provide guidance and counsel to clients on workers compensation laws and regulations

- Stay updated on changes in workers compensation laws and regulations

- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies

- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

- Attend conferences and seminars to further knowledge and skills in workers compensation law

- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of client information

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania

- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing workers compensation  law, representing claimants

- Strong understanding of workers compensation laws and regulations

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Proficiency in legal research and writing

- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality

- Willingness to travel for hearings and trials as needed
