About the Role:

Were on the hunt for an Entry-Level Practice Group Associate (PGA) with a passion for immigration law to join our client's team. This off-track position involves supporting business immigration needs, including non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, assisting corporate clients with immigration strategies, and participating in firm-wide marketing and training initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to help businesses and individuals navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law.

AM Law 100 Requirement:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have recently worked at one of the AM Law 100 firms. To verify if your firm qualifies, please check this . Only candidates who have worked at these top firms will be considered for this opportunity.

Your Mission:

Review and file non-immigrant (L, H, TN, O, E-1/2/3, B-1/2, J-1) and immigrant (PERM, I-130, EB-1, I-140, I-485, N-400) petitions and applications with government agencies and consulates under the direction of a supervising attorney.

Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and supervising attorneys for assigned cases.

Stay current on business immigration law developments and contribute to firm marketing initiatives.

Conduct research and draft alerts, publications, and blog posts.

Participate in training sessions and other firm and section-related activities.

Regularly review client-facing and internal reports to monitor case activity and new case initiations.

Core Competencies:

Business Immigration Expertise: Knowledge of both non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes, with a focus on business immigration law.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work with a team of legal assistants, paralegals, and supervising attorneys.

Communication & Research: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft legal documents and conduct research on immigration law.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.

What You Bring:

Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.

Admitted or eligible for admission in CA, DC, MA, or NY.

Minimum 2 years of experience in business immigration law or a relevant immigration clerkship.

Experience in reviewing reports and monitoring data compliance in immigration-focused databases.

Strong docket and time management skills.

Ability to stay organized and exercise attention to detail in legal processes.

Entry-level candidates with business immigration experience will be considered.
