Job Description
This role is for SLP - Supplemental/PRN, 2 weekend days per month, some weekdays available is preferred
As a Speech Language Pathologist you will:
Assessment of patients/residents including the development, evaluation, and modification of the plan of care.
Interprets and performs complex patient care procedures specific to their area of expertise.
Have accountability to function as a team to accomplish patient/resident outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
Render speech pathology services to inpatients/residents and outpatients, planning and conducting screening/assessment, developing treatment plans, delivering or supervising the delivery of treatment intervention and education for the purpose of improving the patient’s/resident’s feeding, functional communication, and cognitive abilities to improving the patient’s overall functional status and/or reduce the burden on the caregiver.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will function as a multidisciplinary team member within the hospital/facility and in interactions with other health care providers. Patients/residents served include all age groups (Infant through Adult-Geriatric), but primarily Adult-Geriatric.
