Children’s Social Care Commissioning Project Manager

Initial 3 month interim contract but with scope to extend up to 6 months

Outside IR35

£350-£400 per day (Dependent upon experience)

London – Hybrid working

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Children’s Senior Commissioner to scope pathways for CAMHS and Transitions services.

Following deep dive review of shared, commissioned services with the ICB, the council is looking for the completion of a gap analysis of services, scoping of future services/pathways and a specification created for future commissioning requirements.

Reporting to the Head of Children’s Commissioning and will be an exceptional organiser with excellent stakeholder management skills working with various leaders across the operational services, Health Partners & external providers.

About your role as Children’s Social Care Commissioning Project Manager:

Your role will work within the commissioning team to analyse and make recommendations to the HOS about what the commissioning function gaps are for Transitions services and Children’s Mental Health pathways
The complexity of partners and stakeholders within the integrated service so will need to specialise in CSC with a sound understanding of Health commissioning for Children’s Services
Your recommendations will need to be delivered through exceptional stakeholder engagement with leaders within Children’s Social Care, Health partners and through coproduction with CYP and families.
You will be able to make sense of the issues, scope an initial proposal and be open to offering multiple solutions with considerations of both value for money and quality outcomes.

Your required experience as Children’s Social Care Commissioning Project Manager:

More than 2 years’ experience at a minimum in a Senior Manager level role or higher with clear expertise within Children’s Social Care Commissioning
You will be a leader operating with a exceptional communication skills and with a demonstrable track record in service improvement/innovation.
You will be a subject specialist within Children’s Commissioning and adept at working in an agile/changing environment
Available references for most recent 2 year's roles and Enhanced DBS will be required
