Overview:

VNA Health Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to act as a key liaison between employees and HR functions such as Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development. In this role, you will manage employee relations, align HR initiatives with business goals, and serve as a strategic advisor to management on talent management, performance coaching, and HR analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts regularly scheduled meetings and check-ins with respective business unit’s key leadership.

• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group and business to develop solutions, programs and policies.

• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

• Works closely with management and employees to improve employee engagement, work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

• Provides guidance and input on Organizational Development needs such as business unit restructures, job design, workforce planning and succession planning.

• Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs and works with HR group to develop solutions.

• Partners with HR team to roll out enterprise-wide HR policies and programs, offering input and consultation

• Partners with the HR organization; Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement and Health, Wellness and Infection Control to deliver business value every day to assigned business unit and employees.

• The HRBP are part of the Business HR department of HR and will develop a team approach to support each other and coordinate providing service to the business and employees.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

SPHR/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SHRM-CP certification, or coaching certification (ICF, PROSCI, et al) preferred.

Minimum of five years of HR experience.

Strong consulting and leadership coaching skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of all Human Resources functions.

Advanced communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity.

Critical thinking, decision-making, and proven relationship-building skills.

Experience in conflict resolution and basic business acumen skills.
