Procurement Lead for New Nuclear Projects

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum

Are you an experienced procurement professional ready to take on a leadership role in the exciting field of nuclear project delivery? We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Lead to join our Senior New Nuclear delivery team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director.

Role Overview: In this senior position, you will be responsible for driving procurement strategies and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance in a regulated environment. You'll lead a team of procurement specialists, working closely with our clients and supply chain to deliver projects on time and within budget. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our procurement processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the procurement team, overseeing all commercial and supply chain activities.
Develop and implement procurement strategies, standards, and procedures.
Collaborate with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operations.
Ensure alignment of procurement practices with the highest safety and quality standards.Qualifications & Experience:

Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Professional accreditation (e.g., ARICS) is preferred.
Extensive experience in procurement within regulated sectors, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
