Supply Chain Administrator – Doncaster – up to £30k

Supply Chain and Purchasing Admin – benefits

Hours: Mon-Fri; 7.30am-4.30pm Mon – Thurs finishing at 4pm on Friday

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on skills, abilities and experience

Holidays: 29 days holiday increasing to 33 in 5 years

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding and successful business, but please only apply if you have either a couple of years’ experience in commercial buying / stock control / planning or have a degree level qualification in supply chain and looking for your first role in this field.

Confidence on the phone, being comfortable challenging suppliers

Understand demand planning and stock forecasting

The Supply Chain and Purchasing Admin is an interesting role, supporting the Supply Chain Manager:

In summary, the role is to ensure stock availability, ordering products quickly and efficiently, responding to Sales and CS stock queries ASAP and ensuring correct product data is on Netsuite at all times

Duties include:

Placing purchase orders with suppliers to ensure deliveries are made OTIF

Own the relationship with the suppliers, negotiating and driving cost savings

Buying cheaper or alternative equivalent products that meet the needs of the client

Proactively sourcing alternative products and innovation in the marketplace and presenting these to the marketing and sales team for approval

Reviewing purchase orders and ensuring the due dates and prices are correct

Review sales and demand to ensure correct re-order points on popular items

Support the warehouse with delivery queries and ensure good communications
