Supply Chain Administrator

Hoddesdon - Office-based

SC4 is working with a global manufacturer to hire an experienced administrator that has experience working in supply chain, procurement, production or buying teams. Your mission will be to support the Supply Chain Manager in all admin functions.

The Role:

As the Supply Chain Administrator, you’ll take away all the administration tasks from the buying manager such as processing and uploading purchase orders, creating warehouse receipts, chasing deliveries from global suppliers. You will be familiar with an ERP system and ideally shipping paperwork and maintaining accurate stock records. You must be a confident using excel and communicating at all levels so you can build relationships with suppliers and collaborate with other internal teams. Key Responsibilities:

Upload purchase orders into Business Central – Dynamics, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Create and manage warehouse receipts to track and document inventory transactions.

Perform data entry and generate reports via Excel, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.

Manage the receiving, issuing, and dispatching of stock, including all relevant documentation.

Maintain comprehensive inventory records for all stock.

Communicate with suppliers to chase deliveries, resolve issues, and ensure timely receipt of goods.

What you need:

Administration background in production, purchasing, or supply chain

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)

Experience with ERP systems

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and a master of multitasking

Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
