We are seeking a dedicated and motivated candidate for the current opening of Civil Site Engineer, Peachtree Corners, GA (Northern suburb of Atlanta, between Norcross and Alpharetta). The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil engineering design, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a passion for delivering successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform site design and development for residential and commercial projects, including grading, drainage, and utility design
Prepare site plans, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software
Work closely with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure project objectives are met
Conduct site inspections and fieldwork as required to assess project progress and compliance
Assist in preparing engineering reports, permit applications, and technical documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and completion
Stay informed of local, state, and federal regulations impacting civil site projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
2-7 years of experience in civil site design, with a focus on residential and commercial projects
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; on track to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license or already licensed
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with local permitting processes and regulations in the Atlanta area is a plus
