Production Planning Manage

Location: Outskirts of Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 16.30pm (based on site)

Hourly Rate / Salary: Negotiable DOE

Duration: Permanent

Working in a modern facility on the outskirts of Ely you oversee a team of 4 ensuring that the material flow from Production through to shipping is smooth. Experienced in LEAN manufacturing you will be confident to implement and oversee continuous improvement activities.

Daily duties:

* Lead a team of 4 in managing material flow and production scheduling

* Implement new systems such as water spider routes and PFEP

* Conduct audits, root cause analysis, and lead improvement initiatives

* Develop standard work for key processes in Planning, Stores, and Shipping

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and oversee risk assessments

What we are looking for:

* Previous management experience of leading a team within Planning or Supply Chain

* Proficiency with ERP systems

* Flexibility to adjust working hours when needed

* Experience in waste and cost reductions

* LEAN manufacturing background

* Strong communicator

* Detail orientated working style
