HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

Starting salary of £18.25 per hour dependent on experience.
Monday to Friday 6:00am-2.30pm and 1.30pm-10.00pm with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid at time and a half.
Long-standing business operating over 100 years in the region.We are currently seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter on behalf of our Client, an Automotive long-established franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership based in the Newport area.

The successful HGV Technician / HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £37,960 with OTE of circa £40,000 with working hours of Monday to Friday 6:00am-2.30pm and 1.30pm-10.00pm with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid at time and a half.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties of a HGV Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:

Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
Completion of MOT preparationRequirements of this HGV Technician vacancy:

Previous working experience within the role
Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Excellent mechanical knowledge
