Overview:

The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Thompson Restaurants email marketing strategy. This role involves managing and executing campaigns that engage, nurture, and convert target audiences for fourteen different restaurant brands. The Email Marketing Manager works closely with the marketing and IT teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and to optimize campaign performance. 

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development: 

Create and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, retention, and conversion. 

Develop and segment email lists to ensure targeted and personalized messaging. 

Ensure email strategy aligns with each brand calendar and vision. 

Build individual brands SMS strategy and program. 

Campaign Management: 

Execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional offers, product launches, and lifecycle campaigns to build brand awareness and drive sales. 

Manage the end-to-end email process, from deployment and post-campaign analysis. 

Optimize email templates for responsiveness across all devices. 

Develop and maintain SOPs and road maps for email processes, A/B testing and KPIs. 

Create customer journey roadmap to drive frequency and improve the guest experience. 

Content Creation: 

Collaborate with the brand marketing team to develop compelling email copy and visuals based on email campaign results  

Ensure that all email content aligns with brand voice and messaging guidelines by brand in conjunction with brand manager. 

Analytics and Reporting: 

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI. 

Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, content, and call-to-action (CTA) effectiveness. 

Generate and present detailed reports on email campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. 

Compliance and Best Practices: 

Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM). 

Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in email marketing. 

Tools and Technology: 

Utilize email marketing platforms (OLO) to manage campaigns. 

Integrate email marketing efforts with CRM systems and marketing automation tools. 

Qualifications:

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 

Experience: 

3-5+ years of experience in email marketing or a related role. 

Proven track record of successful email campaigns and list management. 

Skills: 

Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and industry standards. 

Proficiency with email marketing platforms and tools. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics. 

Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

Ability to work collaboratively across teams. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems. 

Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization. 

Certification in email marketing or related areas.
