Job Title: Customer Service - Customer Advisor

Location: Edinburgh, Port Hamilton
Contract: 12 months

Introduction:
My client, a leading financial services institution, is currently seeking a Customer Adviser to join their dynamic team based in Edinburgh. With a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional banking services, my client is dedicated to supporting both individual and business customers through innovative financial solutions. They are passionate about putting customers at the heart of everything they do, and as a key player in the UK banking industry, they offer a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Role Overview:
As a Customer Adviser, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. You will play a critical role in building strong customer relationships, handling everyday transactions, and identifying potential opportunities to refer customers to the appropriate services or products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Customer Service: Provide accurate, friendly, and professional service during customer interactions, handling enquiries and cashiering duties effectively.

* Relationship Building: Establish strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.

* Lead Generation: Identify sales opportunities and refer leads to colleagues to ensure lead generation targets are achieved.

* Customer Support: Investigate and resolve straightforward customer enquiries or complaints within agreed service standards.

* Referral Management: Recognise when a customer's request requires specialist advice and refer them to the appropriate team or colleague.

* Team Collaboration: Contribute to team objectives by supporting workload management and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers.

* Ability to handle routine processes with accuracy and efficiency.

* A proactive attitude towards identifying opportunities and solving customer queries.

* Previous experience in a customer service or retail banking environment is desirable but not essential.
