We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join an all-age SEN school in Watford. With paid trial days happening this week and next, this is your chance to step into a role where you can truly make a difference!
What You'll Do:
1:1 and Small Group Support: Work closely with pupils of all ages, providing individual or small group assistance to those with a range of special educational needs including ASD, SLD, and challenging behaviour.
Engage and Inspire: Help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where pupils can grow both academically and socially.
Collaborate: Partner with teachers and support staff to ensure each student has the tools and guidance they need to succeed.
Leadership: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play an active role in leading and delivering lessons when needed, ensuring consistency and quality in education.
What We're Looking For:
At least 1 year of experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or similar role in an SEN setting.
A proactive, resilient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with varying needs.
Confidence in working with a diverse age range of students, from primary through secondary stages.
