Operations Coordinator
Location: Wyton, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £27,699 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator for our client in Wyton. This is a permanent role with one of the UK's leading automotive companies.
Objectives for Role:
* Coordinate team activities to facilitate accurate and efficient vehicle movement.
* Update vehicle records accurately in all relevant systems.
* Ensure items are stored correctly and securely.
* Inspect vehicles for damage during transit and record any claims as needed (training provided).
* Manage the receipting and dispatching of vehicles.
* Safely fuel and jump-start vehicles when trained.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Drive professionally and treat all vehicles with respect.
* Maintain a calm and courteous demeanour when interacting with customers and team members.
* Drive vehicles as instructed by your line manager, within your licensing.
* Perform ad hoc duties to ensure smooth yard operations, reporting to your line manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Proficient with handheld and tablet technology.
* Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (role may be yard and office-based).
* Previous experience of working within the automotive industry is required/preferred.
