About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with teachers to support students in their learning journeys, particularly focusing on boosters and interventions tailored for those with special educational needs. You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate young learners, making a lasting impact in their academic and personal growth.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting, preferably within Key Stage 2.

• A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their best.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students, staff, and parents.

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant Certificate, Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) are advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of tailored learning interventions for Key Stage 2 students, focusing on enhancing their literacy and numeracy skills.

• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.

• Assist in creating a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation.

• Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.

• Provide support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they are included and engaged in all activities.
