Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Full-Time Position at a Catholic School

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to join a reputable Catholic school, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time position, with an immediate start, and is offered on a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons across all science specialisms (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) to KS3 and KS4 students.
Prepare and plan high-quality lessons, ensuring all students have access to an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Assess, monitor, and support the academic progress of students, providing constructive feedback to help them succeed.
Maintain a positive classroom culture that reflects the school's Catholic ethos and values.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective department.
Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
Proven ability to teach across the science specialisms with a solid understanding of the national curriculum.
A commitment to upholding and supporting the Catholic ethos of the school, ensuring that teaching and daily interactions reflect its values.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
