Senior Project Manager (Ecology)
Salary: £33,000 - £42,000

We are currently seeking a Senior Ecologist with Project Management experience to join a leading ecological consultancy based in the beautiful rural Hampshire area. Additional leave for birthdays and long service milestonesAs a Senior Ecologist, you will lead a team of skilled ecologists, providing expert advice, managing projects, and ensuring the successful implementation of survey and mitigation strategies across a wide variety of projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring junior staff, managing complex ecological projects, and is passionate about achieving conservation and development goals.

Senior Ecologist Requirements:

Degree in Ecology or a related field
Extensive experience conducting protected species and habitat surveys (Essential)
Proven leadership and project management experience, particularly in managing large and complex projects (Essential)
Strong knowledge of UK and European ecological legislation
Excellent report writing skills, including PEA, EIA, and BNG reports
Protected Species Licence(s)
Proficiency with QGIS and other ecological software
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
