Overview:

Bondar Insurance Group, an Alera Group Company is seeking a Commercial Trucking Account Manager to join their Property and Casualty team. This role is set to be hybrid in one of our following offices: Oak Brook, IL, Dallas, TX, or Hallendale Beach, FL.

Our goal is to communicate the benefits of an insurance program rather than the features of an insurance policy. Our service teams are set up with Account Executive leadership, Account Management servicing, and technical assistance. Our approach is to provide our clients with a 365-day stewardship process that begins three months before the inception of the program and continues during the partnership. The overall goal is to establish a service delivery plan that is outcome-based and meets specific financial and operational goals.

The Commercial Trucking Account Manager will act as a point of contact for clients, managing their insurance needs for service and renewals. This individual will perform a variety of activities related to the day-to-day administration of the assigned Commercial Property & Casualty policies. The duties include but are not limited to, retaining business, growing business through new, cross-sale, and account round opportunities, preparing materials for renewals, preparing materials for client meetings, ensuring the workflow of information to other team members/departments, maintaining client databases, records management, project-specific assignments and other duties in support of the client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain accurate and complete client data in the client relationship management database (TAM), including documentation and management of action items and client communications according to the procedure

Service and support to clients, carriers, and other agency partners

Maintain the highest level of security and confidentiality regarding corporate and client-related information

Stay informed of industry changes and product offerings

Be familiar with and follow agency and industry E&O guidelines, and attend training and meetings held by the agency and other partners

Manage Incoming Emails, Calendars, Tasks (Outlook)efficiently, and Phone Calls

Direct report to Director of Marketing and Producer on the existing book of business and new business opportunities

Coordinate Expiration reports w/ the Account Executive, Director of Marketing, and Producer to ensure all policies are renewed timely and accurately

Assist Director of Marketing in handling and processing new and renewal commercial lines business

Prepare Summaries of Insurance, proposals, quotes, and coverage recommendations as directed by the Director of Marketing and Producers

Review client exposures, loss experience, and current coverages, and recommend appropriate products and services with the Director of Marketing and Producers

Provide online rating support for new and renewal business

Identify cross-selling and account rounding opportunities with current clients

Handle policies from Bind Stage to Policy Issuance to ensure accuracy, all subjective items completed and premiums are paid

Check new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, forms, coverage, signatures, etc. Update management system accordingly. Ensure these items are delivered to the client timely. With the Support.  

Process Audits; review and run MVRs, Issue Binders; Issue Proofs (EOI/COI/ID Cards); Create/Process Change Requests and Endorsements.

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of experience in commercial lines account managementMust have basic insurance knowledge on how to perform a change request and issue and/or update a certificate 

Property & Casualty Insurance License required or obtained within 90 days of employment

Applied TAM experience preferred

Proficient in MS Office Suite, with Advanced Excel skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong time management skills

Ability to work autonomously and multi-task
