Temp to Perm

FRINGE MPS / UPS (experience dependant ) PLUS SEN Allowance

Monday – Thursday 08:30am – 4:30pm and Friday 08:30am – 3pm.

LT Support are proud to be supporting an Ofsted rated Good with Outstanding features Special Needs School based in the heart of Kent who are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join them ASAP on a temp to perm basis.

This school is a residential and day Special School for students from age 4 to 19 with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and associated learning difficulties.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience teaching GCSE students. It is ideal, but not essential for the candidate to have experience within an SEN setting. This role may be suitable for ECTs as well as experienced teachers.

Main purpose

* To teach English to secondary age and post-16 pupils across two learning pathways.

* To support with the teaching and planning of English (including literacy and phonics) across the whole school.

* Prepare students for external assessments and examinations as required (including Entry Level and GCSE).

* Write reports for annual reviews, other reviews and end of year reporting to parents.

The Successful candidate will have:

* QTS

* Hold a child and adult DBS or be willing to apply for a new one.

* relevant UK experience

* right to work in the UK
