HSE Manager vacancy with an assembly-based manufacturer in West Yorkshire (Elland, Bradford, Shipley, Bingley area). Leading on all HSE related policies, procedures and culture.
Client Details
My client is a hugely successful West Yorkshire based manufacturer who supply an exceptional range of fabricated, assembled and value-add products to a large customer base, both across the UK and internationally.
Being an international company with a SME feel this business is looking for a like-minded HSE Manager to join the business and help their existing team with all policy, procedures and culture.
Description
The HSE Manager will report directly into the Managing Director and will have overall responsibility for all HSE activities on site.
The main priorities of this role are:
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, upholding the company's various accreditations including ISO14001 and 45001
Implement site specific HSE programmes and training plans
Positively driving HSE behaviours
Providing strategic direction and guidance to achieve the HSE mission and objectives
Review, develop and maintain ongoing HSE projects
Profile
Successful candidates will have a strong manufacturing background and a proven ability in managing HSE. You will also possess:
Strong communication skills at all levels of the business
A data-driven and continuous improvement mindset
The ability to influence employee behaviours, as well as update processes and procedures
NEBOSH qualification or similar would be advantageousJob Offer
£50-60k + car allowance
10% bonus
Hybrid working with 1-2 days a week from home
