Mencap is looking for a tenacious Senior Account Manager to join our Corporate Partnerships team, working across New Business (60%) and Account Management (40%) until new partners are brought onboard. You will be joining a vibrant, highly-motivated and dynamic fundraising team – responsible for managing and developing transformational partnerships which help further our vision for the UK to be the best place for people with a learning disability to live happy, healthy lives.

Based in London, with lots of home-working flexibility, our working hours are Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week) but you will need to be flexible to travel and attend meetings occasionally outside of working hours. You should expect to work from the London office 1 day per week.

This is a really exciting opportunity for a professional individual who wants to grow in their career. We need a someone with an abundance of confidence and positivity, combined with the determination to simply get the job done. You will have to manage important relationships with our key partners and build networks internally and externally, so having excellent interpersonal skills is essential.

Working closely with the Corporate Development Lead, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of existing strategic and charity of the year partnerships, and support on developing new business opportunities.

You will be an experienced fundraiser who has demonstrated success and is looking for more responsibility with a new challenge.
