We’re partnering with a renowned design consultancy that crafts innovative, people-focused wayfinding solutions across sectors like transport, healthcare, and events. They’re seeking a Senior Wayfinding Designer to guide a talented team and play a key role in shaping project strategy.

What you’ll be doing

You will lead and support a team of three designers, balancing hands-on creative work with strategic oversight. This involves managing wayfinding projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring each solution meets both creative and user needs. Your role includes collaborating with clients, pitching for new business, and helping shape the future of wayfinding design within the agency.

You’ll play a crucial part in understanding client objectives and translating them into thoughtful, accessible user experiences. Working closely with internal teams, you'll bring together design and functionality to create impactful solutions. While leading your team, you’ll help foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that values creativity and client satisfaction equally.

What experience you’ll need to apply

Experience in leading design teams with a supportive, collaborative approach.
Expertise in wayfinding design, including planning and strategy, signage and pictograms, and user testing and prototyping.
Experience in client engagement, including pitching and project management.
A strong grasp of design principles and a user-focused approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and inclusively to teams and clients.
