£52,000 + Overtime
Shifts:- 12hr 2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturing business, part of a global business that is vastly expanding its products base. They are looking for a number of experienced site services & utilities engineers to join their shift site services team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Working as part of a team of site services engineers, responsible for managing and controlling all the utilities associated with keeping a production facility running efficiently
Proactively work through PPM's provided by the site service coordinator
Electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving, repairs, meter reading, checks, PPM's
Utilities - air compressors, refrigeration, boilers, steam systems, AHU's, water treatment plant
Wastewater Treatment Plant - chemical checks, effluent, MBR plant, water reuse systems
General Site Services - sprinklers, emergency lighting, fire systems, fire alarms, shutter doors
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Must have at least 3-5 years' experience of working in utilities, site services, wastewater treatment
Dealt with steam boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, chillers
NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualified in engineering or higher
Ideally have completed a time-served-apprenticeship
Must have experience of working in a busy food / FMCG environment
Knowledge of safe working practices & compliance
Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Ideally have 17th or 18th Edition Electrical
Physically fit - lots of walking, climbing, lifting etc.
Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma methodologies is beneficial
