Fabrication Designer – Required**
Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm – Office Based role
Must be able to drive due to location
Salary DOE from £25k -£38k
Exciting opportunity has arisen within a dynamic growing company based around the Laindon area.
Working closely with the sales team and receiving mentoring support from the Senior Designer to produce high quality kitchen and restaurant design drawings and visualisations
You will be required to:-
Liaise with customers, architects, designers, M&E companies
Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot Inventor features according to project definition.
Use solidworks, Radan and CAD
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To produce scaled plans, sections, elevations, schematics, and detail drawings from external and internal sources.
* Produce fabrication designs for factory to create bespoke manufactured items.
* Produce 3D visualisations.
* Scanning and copying drawings for distribution to designers, clients, and contractors.
* Occasional site visits to take site dimensions and gain experience.
* Knowledge of general architecture building layouts.
You will also:-
* Learn to produce quotations estimating package incorporated within Sage 200 for fabrication, equipment, and associated site works.
* To liaise with clients, in-house staff, and external suppliers with regards to equipment and details for interfacing with quotations.
* Follow up with clients regarding quotations establishing whether information correctly
* Put together all relevant information, i.e. drawings, quotes, client approval confirmation within a pack for supply to the project co-ordinator.
• Advise all relevant teams on approval of quotation.
• Advise accounts team to raise relevant deposit/pro-forma invoice.
