Working under the direction of the Estimating Manager, the post holder will compile competitive tender proposals and liaise with clients, with the aim of securing profitable work for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare competitive, accurate tender designs
* Identify safe, cost-effective operational solutions and risk factors for tenders.
* Propose multiple ground engineering solutions and ensure alignment with company procedures.
* Communicate effectively with clients throughout the tender process via meetings, site visits, and follow-ups.
* Provide regular updates to the Estimating Manager and collaborate with the wider team for seamless project handovers.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Person Specification:
* Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
* Strong communication skills, team player, and able to work under pressure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to travel across the UK for site visits and meetings.
