Our Halifax based client are a rapidly expanding manufacturing business and are recruiting for an Assistant Production supervisor.

Due to expansion, they are seeking to recruit a proactive and dedicated employee with a passion for production management to join our growing Operations team. They are looking for someone with production supervisor experience within a manufacturing environment.

Duties:

* Production Scheduling

* Creating and reviewing the production schedule

* Assessing the day’s production goals and adjusting the schedule where necessary to meet demands.

* Oversee and manage attendance and working hours for production operators.

* Highlighting any patterns or anomalies.

* Ensure all equipment and machinery are in working order, organising maintenance where required.

* You’ll be assisting a team of direct reports.

* To lead by example maintaining a positive working environment to promote and achieve productivity, quality, and performance.

* Assisting in overseeing all aspects of daily production and related operations to maximise efficiency.

Candidate

* Dynamic individual with flexibility and prioritisation skills to help keep our production running smoothly.

* Forward thinking with the ability to problem solve

* Someone who is looking for progression from a production role to assistant production supervisor

Experience

* Worked within a manufacturing environment.

* Previous supervisory or management experience
