Sales Manager - Defence
Defence Solutions Provider is hiring for a Sales Manager for their team based near Southampton. This is a permanent role offering a hybrid basis of 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. You must be prepared and eligible for SC or DV Clearance.
Responsibilities include:
* Proactive Business Development from requirements identification, capture and shaping through to order closure.
* Internal and external stakeholder management to drive successful sales outcomes through the full sales life cycle.
* Develop, Owning and managing a rolling 5-year forecast to accurately deliver Order Intake for future business planning.
* Identifying and executing partnering strategies in support of campaign objectives, securing win-win positions with our partners.
Essential skills include:
* Experience of working within the procurement cycle for large-scale (£20m+) and complex projects with UK Ministry of Defence.
* Proven ability to demonstrate integrity and build organisational trust with customers and partners, building relationships for the long term.
* Knowledge of UK MoD, organisations and structures, and how to align them to products and services.
* A proven track record of Bidding and Winning large-scale (£20m+) and complex projects with UK Ministry of Defence
* An understanding of how UKStratCom procures Strategic Services and R&D would be highly desirable.
