Miller Transportation Group is hiring for an Assistant Diesel Service Manager for our diesel maintenance facility in Jersey City, NJ. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Service Manager and our customers and lead a team of Diesel Technicians. The Assistant Diesel Service Manager will be a hands-on leader depending on the needs of the shop.

Assistant Service Manager Duties:

Manage the maintenance and repair of a fleet of diesel and refrigeration equipment

Manage a team of Technicians to complete repairs on time

Maintain the running cost within budget

Work closely with customers to meet their transportation and maintenance needs

Order parts for the shop

Requirements

Prior industry experience in Heavy Truck Maintenance Management

Experience leading a team

Excellent customer service

Strong mechanical aptitude

Organizational and interpersonal skills

Ability to work: Monday - Friday (2nd Shift - from 2 PM until 10:30 PM)
