About the Role

The Baggage Runner is responsible for assisting guests and Bellpersons with the movement of baggage.

Position Responsibilities

• Transport checked baggage from one location to the appropriate location.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the bell-stand and the baggage room.

• Tag and store luggage.

• Works in cooperation with bell persons and door persons to organize baggage room and to stage fronts for guest delivery.

• Break down carts for availability for bellmen.

• Bring luggage from curb to storage area.

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

• Must be able to stand, sit, bend and twist for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas

• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and flexible shift hours

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand).

• At least 1 year of previous customer service experience

• Prior bell stand or hotel experience helpful, but not required.
