RMC is hiring a Management Analyst to support our customer at the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Military Aviation and Installation Assurance Siting Clearinghouse.  The Clearinghouse is responsible for reviewing, approving, and tracking proposed utility-scale energy projects (e.g., wind turbines) that may have the potential to impact DoD test and training ranges, operating areas, and airspaces.

This position will provide technical, analytical, and management support for the Clearinghouse’s review and assessment of formal and informal utility-scale onshore and offshore renewable energy, transmission and utility line, and offshore oil and gas exploration and recovery project impacts on the DoD mission and national security. Additional responsibilities will include:

Providing data management and analysis of formal energy projects filed through the FAA’s OE/AAA system and informal project review requests submitted by energy developers, other federal agencies, states, and landowners for DoD mission impacts.

Providing monthly/annual statistics and structure-type analysis of formal project reviews.

Tracking legislative bill advancement, committee hearings, and congressional testimony for weekly reports for senior officials on federal and state policies affecting renewable and traditional energy development.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $80,000 to $105,000.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

An active DoD SECRET clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
