GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ EOIR
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-time
LOCATION: Falls Church, VA; Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days telework); Initial 8 weeks will be onsite due to current site requirements

ITC Federal is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Configuration/Project Management Analyst to join our team in Falls Church, VA. This is a hybrid position, supporting the US government. Regular weekly schedule will be 3 days working on site and 2 days working remote. The initial 8 weeks of employment will be 100% onsite due to current site requirements. This is a fast-paced work environment that offers the opportunity to utilize hands-on experience with a variety of IT solutions to solve mission-critical problems supporting the US government.

Responsibilities:
Provides configuration management planning.
Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits
Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into the environment.
Manage small to medium size projects such as hardware and software upgrades.
Adhere to the Configuration Management (CM) requirements pertaining to hardware identification, change control and status
Assure the continuity of product design configuration by reviewing and analyzing initial drawings/documents and implementing subsequent approved engineering changes in relation to drawings/documents
Support the IT team in drafting Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure all infrastructure, hardware and software changes are documented in ServiceNow, reviewed and approved before implementation.
Run a daily standup call with IT team to discuss daily initiatives and summarize those activities in a daily email.
Assist program personnel in the preparation of complex engineering change proposals (ECP) and related documents resulting from a change request
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with functional personnel in all aspects of the IT organization.
Maintain repository of SOP’s, Design Documents, and baseline images.
Maintain configuration management database (CMDB) and system documentation
Process on a regular cycle discrepancy reports, requirements, build reports, investigation reports, request for changes and operation change requests
Assist in changes to the CM process, responsible for establishing and maintaining both new and existing schedules
Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance (must be obtained prior to start date)
Experience in a CM, Quality Assurance, Change Management, and/or Audit role, particularly on a large system
Experience developing and maintaining installation procedures and documenting standard configuration settings for hardware and software systems
Experience tracking software, hardware, and configuration status for software development systems, test environments, and operational sites
Ability to multi-task, complete tasks without direct supervision, and function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to successfully work and communicate with and adapt to personnel at all levels and technical disciplines (software developers, test engineers, system engineers, etc.)
Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project)
Experience with Agile development methodologies
PMP, Preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Regular movement around the campus of large immigration courts is required throughout the day to provide hands-on support to customers.
The person in this position must have the ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
