The Position: The Senior Graphic Designer will create engaging, on-brand visual concepts that support the organization’s business objectives and property-level marketing efforts. In this position, the graphic designer will develop the overall layout and production design for a variety of applications for traditional and digital media.
Responsibilities:
Display an elevated level of graphic design expertise and proficiency
Daily responsibilities include the conception, development, and design of a variety of marketing collateral and digital design including, social media images/posts, flyers, brochures, e-mail templates, HTML templates, internal branded templates, internal presentations, website assets, signage and other materials
Managing a high volume of creative service requests, traffic status to ensure deadlines are consistently met
Organize files, photos, and all collateral produced or received
Analyze and plan the framework of design according to the laid-out concept and established specifications of the project
Delegate job responsibilities among junior team members and oversee that quality work is being completed within the deadline
Oversee that new techniques and processes are used to provide best quality of designs.
Train and mentor junior designers and entry-level entrants
Suggest new ways of improving the quality of designs and other project issues
Effectively manage the overall visual creative design, photography, copywriting and production across all traditional and digital media
Ensure community and company brand individuality, excitement, impact, and accuracy in all marketing materials
Collaborate with the SVP of Marketing to maintain and develop the graphic design strategy for the department
Review all creative materials before they are finalized to ensure quality control and brand standards are met
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills
Proficient in HTML
Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management, Adobe
Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator and InDesign
Edit & color-correct images in Photoshop
Prior experience working in a PC environment
Physical Requirements:
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.
The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
