Oracle Technical Analyst

Working as part of our Enterprise Applications team you will be responsible daily for delivering technical support activities to ensure we provide a quality application service to the Telent business community, along with new technical solutions to enable our growing business.

What you'll do:

The key deliverables of this role are as follows:

Provide day to day technical support and maintenance activities within our Enterprise Applications estate
Design, test and implement new solutions to meet our evolving business needs
Collaborate with our product teams to continuously improve our application service, optimising solutions, reducing technical debt and risk where necessary
Liaise with third party suppliers to ensure resolution to agreed SLA's and standards Infrastructure life cycle management and capacity planning.The responsibilities for this role include:

Provide 3rd line technical support & maintenance for our Enterprise Applications which include Oracle EBS, and Oracle Integration Cloud
Develop technical specifications, system architecture documentation and other relevant documentation
Ability to validate change or solution using Software Delivery Life cycle
Undertake application code development and database configuration
Managing the unit, system, and integration testing
Liaise with software vendors where necessary and apply or oversee relevant software updates and patches.
Monitor performance and efficiency of applications and instigate modifications and improvements where necessary. Key Requirements:

Demonstrate extensive experience with SQL, PL/SQL, interfaces, workflows, reports
Demonstrate experience in OAF page extension and customization
Demonstrate experience in Application Object Library within Oracle ERP suite
Ability to understand business process and design solutions as per business requirements
Demonstrate experience with Oracle Integration Cloud Service
Work within the framework and guidelines of ITIL processes and policies, ensuring alignment to best practice
Experience delivering solutions in other technologies outside Oracle EBS (Desirable).What we offer:
