Introduction

We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our Gattaca Projects division, to support with the delivery across our portfolio of projects.

The role

The Associate Project Manager supports the Delivery team and its clients by providing services across all our projects.

- Supporting Project Management activities across the department ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and timescale.

-Continually monitoring and assessing the performance of the projects and supporting with continuous improvement.

-Supporting project delivery with project administration and project reporting which includes attending internal and external meetings and collaborating with Gattaca Projects and the wider Gattaca group.

In this role, you will be accountable for;

Delivering Excellence:
- Supporting the delivery of cost effective solutions to maximise NFI whilst adhering to Group and Gattaca Projects processes.
- Stakeholder management (through client, supplier, and internal liaison).
- Maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Sales efforts and promote Gattaca Projects and its offerings.
- Plan, manage and report on budgets, schedule and progress, following industry best practice.
- Ensure compliance throughout all of Gattaca Projects clients and operations.

The activities you are likely to undertake to succeed are:
- Regularly touch-base with resources and clients to develop and maintain a long lasting relationship
- Produce accurate project forecasts and ensure the right level of support is provided to each project
- Maintain resource administration tasks, timesheet management and tracking, and invoicing processes
- Ensure change management procedures are followed by the project team
- Be aware of and ensure compliance to contractual requirements
- Plan and prioritise activities by maintaining a top level view across the project.
- Communicate with the project workforce keeping them engaged, informed and committed to deliver a strong service to Gattaca.
- Build strong and professional relationships with support functions within Gattaca
and more.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Experience in a regulated industry environment (e.g. Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence)

Good understanding of Project Management Principles

Excellent oral, written and presentational skills.

Ability to operate efficiently in a team as well as independently

Excellent time management skills

Knowledge of MS Project, or equivalent software.

Experienced user of standard office software (word processors, spreadsheets, e-mail etc.)

Further requirements:
Willing to travel within UK to clients sites
Committed to carrying out the continuing professional development necessary to ensure competence in areas and at the level of future intended practice.

The successful candidate will need to be able to obtain and hold security clearance for this position and so must be a UK National to be able to do so.
