Office Administrator

Part Time – 27 hours

Salary pro rata (£24,500 FTE)

The role will involve the day-to-day operations and administration within our busy office; working in various departments within the organisation including; sales, accounts, purchasing, quality and health and safety.

You will be a proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, with the ability to anticipate needs, identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions effectively.

Additionally, your willingness to bring new ideas to the team will be highly valued, as we strive to innovate and enhance our business processes.

This is a part-time position offered Monday through to Friday.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Producing quotations, taking orders, generating production documents, producing delivery notes and invoices.

* Communicating with customers by email and over the telephone, answering queries, directing calls and taking messages

* Creating quality documents, monthly reports and analysis

* Creating health and safety documents, monthly reports and analysis

* Minute taking and producing action plans

* Support accounts staff with processing of purchase invoices, chasing customers for payments

* To support staff as and when required in general admin duties

* Ensure that all visitors receive welcoming, professional attention

* General office tasks – filing, archiving, scanning, creating newsletters and reports

* Creating documents in word and excel

* Ad hoc duties requested from management

Skills & Experience

* Organised and structured, remain focused on priorities

* Comfortable under pressure

* Administrative / organisational skills

* Attention to detail and analytical skills

* Experience of the Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)

* Positive attitude: willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive team environment

* Ability to work with autonomy and as part of a team

Salary: Salary pro rata (£24,500 FTE)

Benefits

* 22 days holidays plus bank holidays – holiday year runs January to December

* Part-time, Hours of work:

* 9.00am - 3.00pm Monday to Thursday (half hour lunch break)

* 9:00am - 1:00pm Friday.

* Hours are negotiable to suit the ideal candidate

Education:

GCSE 6,5,4 or above Maths and English,
