Office Administrator - Doncaster
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our dynamic team based at our Carcroft, Doncaster offices. Reporting to the European Distribution and Logistics Manager, this role is critical in ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and on-time to maintain compliance with our regulatory duties. You will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks including: checking invoices, raising PO's for transportation, ensuring accuracy of all PODs, customs entries, delivery notes etc and filing accurately.

The role will include:
* Entering and maintaining data on the ERP system
* Cross referencing transport invoices with shipping log to ensure accuracy
* Create customs instructions for inbound and outbound activities
* Checking accuracy of commercial and system generated invoices
* Liaising with other departments and customers regarding exports so as to prevent customs delays
* Filing import and export clearances
* Providing reports and information as required
* Contributing to Continuous Improvements initiatives
* Supporting other roles in the office
What we would love you to bring to the role:
* Demonstrable experience dealing with customs, imports and exports
* Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry
* Excellent IT skills including spreadsheets and ERP systems
* Able to cultivate productive relationships across the organisation and with customers
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Motivated and results driven self-starter, willing to take accountability for own areas of responsibility and work under own initiative
* Tactful when handling objections or obstacles to meeting objectives
* Meticulous and methodical in completing tasks
* Able to work to demanding schedules and delivery deadlines
* A true Team Player, willing to help others to ensure Customer Satisfaction
You'll need to be based close to our Carcroft, Doncaster offices and have a valid right to work in the UK.
We can offer you
Salary: from £24,000 subject to experience, plus Performance related bonus scheme. Benefits include: 33 days holiday entitlement (inclusive bank holidays), 5% pension contributions, Life assurance scheme, Company sick pay, Medical benefit salary sacrifice scheme, Employee assistance program, Retail discounts, Fuel cards
